Carter Paine is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Wayspring, where he leads the company’s mission to advance care and support for individuals with substance use disorder through innovative, value-based solutions. Throughout his career, Carter has focused on challenging the status quo in healthcare and driving strategies that improve outcomes for patients and partners. Before founding Wayspring, he co-founded naviHealth, a Nashville-based value-based care and post-acute management company, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, Carter spent a decade in healthcare investment banking and private equity, gaining deep expertise in growth strategy and operational execution. He earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
